Also considering the international issues with disease & handling of items it could naturally create local supply activity which would be a good thing.

Pizza bars & shops have been providing this service forever in the food industry with people buying + charge for delivery or Free delivery for larger orders. Since the forced local down & isolation messages across Australia also worldwide. Pizza places have gotten a whole lot busier. Most well known Dominos Pizza a Michigan USA based mega company jumped from $300 share to $375 last week making history with the investors in the multi billion dollars business happy.
Now with a culture growth patterns never seen before its the Takeaway of Everything. Maybe this change to our way of supply & demand of small businesses can look at how to include deliver into the purchase price, with a direct marketing method of online order & to the door step delivery. Alot of delivery drivers will be required with maybe a jobs explosion on the roads with scooters or tiny cars a plenty.
This does beg the question will we become better buyers of items that a better & more healthy for us. Not walking down the isles with strtegic placement of the more commercial items presented for purchase at eye level, in banks for attraction, special tags for spontaneous buying. Will we become more selective, disapplined, write the lists up for the shops now to warehouses pick the items, box & deliver.
This Takeaway will mean a faster more efficient system of getting what we need, no shop loitering around. Sometimes we find ourselves walking around a shop for ever just looking, checking things out but that now will done at home looking through the website.

Once upon a time it was just the oven cooked, fried, baked, pastry, in a bun fat & greasy stuff that was put out to the public for fast foods. Now we can safely say anything you want is online anytime to get as a digital takeaway. This will give many operators the rethink on shop sizes, lease arrangements, maybe we will see a reset of the food indusrty to what Melbourne has seemed to model with 100’s if not 1000’s of Japanese style tiny cafes, 10-20 people food places by day & takeaway anytime but totally dial & deliver by night. This could be the beginning of a revolution that may see Uber Eats only get bigger as the main layer in being the people & food courier company of the last decade. But also can be a potential opportunity for local businesses to cost the delivery person into the food, multiple street delivery or area so to create a delivery driver team per shop or shops in the strips & immediate areas which share drivers in co-operative collaboration so to give more employment directly to locals living nearby. Like the pizza deliver boy or girl who is a uni student getting some side money for a pretty simple job which can also get some tips, local residents or business connection, public relations, direct contact with the community spirit. Large companies like Uber are very good however in recent years is starting to monopolize the market with additional charges. The company not only receive the core value of the service as a courier, but also take a fee from the gross sale which is a double dip. The customer creates the purchase for the food which is prepared, created, cooked, dished, but up to 30% is clipped from the payment which is nearly as much as the business providing the food. Then the payment to the service provider or laborer being the driver be a flat rate of pay, out sourced contractor arrangement, self insurance, super, tax, car, services, license, fuel…etc. This is double x2 revenue stream to a digital platform business in San Francisco.
