Scarborough has always been one of the most popular beach fronts in West Australia splitting the north & the south coastal districts of the western suburbs with Scarborough Beach Road heading west from North Perth. A rich history of all things fun, social in seaside lifestyle for locals in weekend visitors along with travelers checking out one of the more iconic locations.
In summer season over 100 thousand people will visit the beach front weekly.
Over the last 5 years the changes to the central coast of WA have been massive in transforming a New Scarborough. It took decades in discussion, council changes, voting, government promises, debates, surveys, meetings, local complaints, alot of community feedback & push back. But progress is inevitable with the new ideas shaping the coast. Phase one of the super plan has settled in to a better normal way of life, with the facilities creating a functional, friendly, spacious, modern beach front. It has been redesigned into an area that can facilitate a range of community activities. Beneficiaries of the redevelopment included the Scarboro Life Saving club with new facilities, local traders that hung in there through the 2 years development building process. Its now got back the hustle & bustle of the popular beach precinct it always has been & will be.
Now comes the residential developments that will scatter around the immediate area for new residents to take advantage of all that is on offer on the door step. Taking over the old flats, villas, homes on large lots that have had there day & reached an expiry date on the dwellings as becoming derelict. Its really just the evolution in real estate every half century of rebuild on the land that is there. With the Stirling shire rubbing their hands together with increased rates x many 1000’s of properties to be built, bought & sold.
